On the 24th march I will be hosting a TeaLab event in Gibbs 433 on ‘Fitting in or standing out: Black students’ academic experiences and the need to address the 3 R’s of respect, relevance and race – implications for an inclusive education.’ I will outline the qualitative research I did at Brookes interviewing Black students about their experiences at university and what we should be doing next.
I plan to be a bit controversial so please come along and contribute. Look forward to seeing you there for the usual cakes and coffee.
Event: TeaLab, Date:Monday 24th March, Location: Gibbs 433, Gipsy Lane Campus, Time: 10am
